The Calender is a Google based application so if you are not logged in with Google account, you will always get the time in UT. (if you have changed the time zone setting in Google to IST then it will show time in IST)
Sunrise/Sunset timings unless specified are in UT. To use it for your location in IST please add 5 ours and 30 mins to it.
